I turned around but couldn’t recall a single memory of him.
He looked like he’d been searching for me for a long time. Despite appearing somewhat flustered, his eyes were filled with the joy of finding something lost.
“I finally found you! I have so much to tell you. What happened before was my fault. Do you have
time? Can we talk?”
He reached out to take my hand. Behind him stood a girl who seemed to be in a foul mood.
I dodged his hand and stepped back.“I’m sorry, but I don’t recognize you. We have nothing to say.”
Only then did he realize something was off about me.
“What–what’s wrong with you? It’s me, Evan!”
Seeing I didn’t respond, he softened his tone.
“Thalia, are you still angry with me? What happened that night was my fault, but I did try to stop it later. Give me a chance to explain, please?”
Ravena, standing behind him, finally lost her patience and cursed.
“Thalia, quit the act! You’re such a poor loser! Weren’t you so high and mighty before? Didn’t you love making people apologize to you? Now you must be enjoying seeing my brother grovel! Enough already–this act is going too far!”
I frowned, glanced at her briefly, and ignored her.
Evan turned to her with a stern face and yelled, “Shut up! If you’re not here to sincerely apologize,
then get lost!”
Ravena bit her lip and said nothing more.

“Thalia, please talk to me, okay?”
