I glanced over at him from the corner of my eye, his powerful strides keeping pace effortlessly, his muscles tense under the sheen of sweat that glistened on his skin. Even after our sparring match, he sll looked fresh, while I felt like I’d run a marathon.
I slowed the treadmill down catching my breath “I need a shower,” said, wrinkling my nose as I wiped the sweat from her forehead. “I feel gross.”

I rolled my eyes but didn’t respond, too tired to come up with a witty comeback. I grabbed my gym bag and started heading toward the locker rooms, the cool air hitting my damp skin as I moved away from the heat of the machines.
As I walked, I noticed Elijah following closely behind me. I stopped and turned to face him, raising an eyebrow. “Why are you following me?”
He looked at me like I had just asked the dumbest question in the world. “The men’s and women’s locker rooms are literally next to each other, where else would I go,” he said matter–of–factly raising a brow while he gestured to the signs on the walls.
rolled my eyes again. “Right. Of course.” I said as I looked at the familiar hallway that split into the men’s and women’s sections. I watched him disappear into the men’s side, shaking my head before entering the women’s locker room.
Once inside, I dropped my bag onto the bench and started stripping off my clothes, feeling the sticky fabric cling to my skin. I grabbed my essentials from the bag–soap, shower oil, and a towel and made my way to the shower stalls, eager to wash off the layer of grime that coated my body.
The hot water felt amazing as it cascaded over me, washing away the sweat and soreness from the training session. I tilted my head back, letting the warmth soothe my aching muscles, closing my eyes and enjoying the brief moment of peace.
But that peace didn’t last long.
Without warning, the shower curtain was yanked open with a loud whoosh, and I let out a startled scream, instinctively covering myself as I spun around. My heart raced, my mind immediately jumping to the worst possible conclusions. But before I could react further, Elijah stepped into the shower, his eyes dark with an intensity that made my breath catch in my throat.
What the hell?!”
Elijah stood there, a sly grin on his face as he leaned casually against the frame completely naked.
“What are you doing?!” I hissed, my voice a mix of anger and embarrassment as I trying to maintain some semblance of modesty despite the fact that I was completely bare in front of him..
“You said you needed a shower,” he said, his tone teasing. “Figured d join you.”
“Get out!” I demanded, my face burning.“Elijah, I’m serious-”
He didn’t say a word. Instead, he closed the shower curtain behind him and stepped closer, his towering frame filling the small space. My protests died in my throat as his lips crashed against mine his kiss hard and possessive, silencing any argument I might have had. His hands gripped my hips firmly, and before I knew it, he lifted me off the ground, pressing me up against the cool tile
of the shower wall.
I gasped into the kiss, my body reacting instinctively to the sudden intensity of it all. His touch was electrifying, and despite myself,

I found my hands tangling in his wet hair, pulling him closer as if touldn’t get enough of him.
I Elijah’s lips moved from mine to the sensitive skin of my neck, trang hot kisses down to my collarbone, and I couldn’t suppress the shiver that ran through me. The water continued to pour down over us, but all I could focus on was the way his hands roamed my body, the way his breath felt against my skin, and the overwhelming desire that pulsed through me.
“Elijah,” I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of the water, though I wasn’t sure if it was a plea for him to stop or for him to continue. He lifted his head, his golden eyes locking onto mine with a look that made my stomach flip.

Chapter Sixty One–2
“Tell me to stop, Stormi,” he murmured, his voice low and rough. “Tell me, and I’ll stop right now.”
But I couldn’t say it. The words wouldn’t come.
Instead, I pulled him back to me, kissing him fiercely, giving in to the emotions and the connection that always seemed to pull us together, no matter how hard I tried to resist. And in that moment, nothing else mattered–not my anger, not the confusion, not even the lingering pain from the past. It was just him and me, our bodies moving together in perfect sync as the world outside the shower melted away.
Elijah’s grip tightened on my hips as he pressed me harder against the wall, his mouth never leaving mine as he continued to kiss me with a desperation that mirrored my own. Every touch sent sparks through my body, and I couldn’t help but lose myself in the
sensation of it all.
His hands roamed over my body, and I felt a surge of heat pooling in my core. I responded to his touch eagerly, wanting more, craving the closeness.
I tried to regain control, pushing lightly against his chest, but the heat of his body and the intensity of his kiss made it impossible
to think clearly.
“Elijah, I murmured against his lips, my voice barely audible.
He pulled back just enough to meet my gaze, his dark eyes filled with a mix of desire and vulnerability. “Tell me to stop,” he said
softly, his voice rough.
I hesitated, my heart pounding in my chest. Instead of answering, I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck, pulling him back into
the kiss.
Elijah responded immediately, his hands sliding down my back to lift me effortlessly. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he pressed me against the cool tile wall, his kisses trailing down my neck and igniting a fire in my veins. I could feel hear pooling at
my core and his hardness inches from my entrance.
The water continued to pour down over us, mingling with the heat of our bodies as we lost our selves in the moment.
“Elijah,” I whispered, my voice trembling as I pulled back slightly to meet his gaze. My lips felt swollen, my breaths coming in shallow pants.
He rested his forehead against mine, his expression softer now, though no less intense. “What?”
My heart was pounding so loudly I was sure he could hear it. “What are we doing?”
His lips brushed mine again, a featherlight touch that sent another wave of warmth through her. “Something we’ve both wanted for a long time.”
My protests were slipping further away, drowned out by the fire coursing through my veins. I couldn’t deny the pull I felt toward him–the magnetic connection that had been simmering beneath the surface for far too long.
But just as the moment threatened to consume us entirely, a faint, noise outside the locker room startled us both.
“Elijah,” I whispered, my voice suddenly laced with panic.
He froze, his body tense as he listened. The noise grew louder–footsteps echoing in the distance, heading in out direction.
“We’re going to get caught!” I hissed, pushing against his chest in a desperate attempt to create some distance.

Chapter Sixty One–2
Elijah set me down gently, though his smirk betrayed his lack of condern. “Relax. Whoever it is won’t dare come in here.”
“Don’t act so sure of yourself!” I shot back, grabbing my towel and wrapping it around myself in a rush.
The footsteps paused just outside the locker room door, and for a moment, we both held our breath. When the sound finally retreated, i let out a shaky exhale, glaring at Elijah.
“This is your fault, “I muttered,my cheeks still flushed as I grabbed my gym bag and stormed out of the shower.
Elijah grabbed a towel wrapping it around his waist and followed me completely unrepentant. “I don’t hear you complaining about the rest of it,” he teased, and u shot him a sharp glare over my shoulder.
“Don’t push your luck,” I warned, though my tone lacked its usual bile.
He chuckled, leaning against the doorway as he watched me leave. “Whatever you say, Stormi.”
I didn’t look back, but the ghost of a smile tugged at my lips as I made my way out of the locker room.
