The Omega: Mated To The Four

Chapter Seventy

We followed Eira down the narrow stone corridor, the air growing coller with each step. Faintly glowing sconces lit the way, casting long, flickering shadows on the walls. The place smelled of earth and magican old, heavy scent that made my wolf stir uneasily in the back of my mind

The stairs seemed endless, each step echoing in the silence. I couldn’t help but mutter under my breath, What is it with witches

and stairs?”

Austin snorted behind me. You’d think they’d conjure up some magical elevators by now.”

I smirked, grateful for his humor to break the tension. Or maybe they’re just into the whole dramatic aesthetic.”

Or they’re trying to make sure only the strong reach the bottom,Elijah said his eyes were sharp as he scanned our surroundings

I sighed. Great. A fitness test on top of everything else.”

Finally, we reached a massive stone door at the bottom of the staircase. Eira pressed her hand against the rough surface and began murmuring in a language I didn’t understand. Her voice was steady, each word deliberate. Symbols carved into the door started to glow, their light pulsing in time with her incantation. With a low rumble, the door swung open, revealing a hidden chamber

The air inside was thick with magic, so potent that it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. My wolf stirred again, this time not out of unease but recognition. Whatever this place was, it was powerful

The room was circular, its walls adorned with carvings of moons, stars, and strange symbols that seemed to shimmer in the dim light. At the center stood a stone table surrounded by seven massive chairs, each one etched with glyphs and symbols that glowed

faintly

This,Eira said, her voice echoing slightly, is where the first seven High Witches of the Moon Coven gathered. They forged their bond here, vowing to protect the balance between realms.”

Austin let out a low whistle. Soa magical dungeon?”

Rowena shot him a sharp look, but Eira ignored him entirely. Her gaze fixed on me. Stormi, step into the center.”

I hesitated, looking at my mates for reassurance. Elijah nodded, his expression calm but firm. Isaiah gave me a small, encouraging smile, while Alex and Austin both offered playful thumbsups

Okay,I muttered, more to myself than anyone else

I stepped into the circle, the center of the room suddenly feeling far too exposed. The carvings on the walls seemed to come alive, glowing faintly as I moved into position. Above me, I noticed an intricate carving of the moon surrounded by constellations and unfamiliar symbols. The urge to reach out and trace them was strong, but Eira’s voice brought me back to the present

This space is sacred, she said. It amplifies the connection between you and your mates. Today, you will learn to control the moon’s essence that you absorbed. Your power is not just your ownit is theirs as well. Their strength will depend on your ability to

channel it.”

I swallowed hard, the weight of her words sinking in. My mates stood around me in a protective formation, their presence both comforting and daunting

Close your eyes,Eira instructed. Feel the energy within you. Let your wolf guide you. Focus on the moon above, and channel your

power to your mates.”

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. My wolf stirred, her energy coiling within me like a living thing. Slowly, I reached for that power, letting it rise to the surface

A soft glow emanated from my chest, warm and steady. It felt like a heartbeat, pulsing in time with my own. The light stretched upward, connecting with the moon carving above, which began to glow in response. From there, it split into five streams, each une descending to my mates

Good,Eira said. Now, control it. Shape it. Let it flow like electricity. You are its master,”

The power was immense, almost overwhelming, but I focused on its words. 1 imagined the energy as a river, guiding its flow rather than letting it spill out unchecked. The light pulsed brighter, and I opened my eyes to see my mates glowing with power

Elijah’s eyes burned silver, Alex’s flames flickered along his skin, his silver eyes blazing. Isaiah’s shadowy silver gaze held an edge of lethal calm, while Austin’s icy blue glow seemed to radiate a quiet strength

Suddenly, the chamber was flooded with a brilliant white light. I gasped, shielding my eyes as the world around us seemed to

dissolve

When the light faded, I found myself standing in an endless white void. There were no walls, no ceiling, no groundjust an infinite expanse of white

What the hell just happened?Austin asked, his voice echoing

The Omega: Mated To The Four

Chapter Seventy

Before anyone could answer, Eira’s voice rang out, distant but clear. This is an illusion, she said. A test. You must face it together. Defend yourselves against the Umbrakins. Survive. And try not to die”

Her words sent a shiver down my spine

The white void began to shift, the air growing heavier. Trees materialized around us, forming a dense, shadowy forest. The darkness pressed in from all sides, and an eerie silence fell over the group

Then, the howls began

Low and guttural at first, they grew louder, closer. My wolf bristled, Her hackles rising as the sound sent a jolt of fear through me

Elijah stepped forward, his Alpha instincts kicking in. Stay close. We’re surrounded.”

The first Umbrakin lunged from the shadowsa grotesque, wolflike creature dripping with dark energy. Elijah reacted instantly, delivering a punch so powerful it sent the creature flying into a tree

But for every Umbrakin we took down, more appeared, their howls filling the forest

I let my wolf take over, shifting into my massive silver form. My fur glowed in the darkness, illuminating the forest and driving back some of the shadows. My mates fought with everything they had, their powers pushing them to incredible feats

Elijah’s strength was unparalleled, his strikes devastating. Alex moved with inhuman speed, flames licking at his hands as he

incinerated any Umbrakin that came too close

Isaiah summoned a shadowy sword, using the darkness to his advantage. His strikes were precise, calculated, the shadows

themselves coming alive under his command

Austin wielded his ice like a blade, freezing the ground and the creatures in their tracks before shattering them with deadly

efficiency

As for me, I tore through the enemy ranks in my massive wolf form, my glowing fur a beacon of hope and destruction

But the Umbrakins kept coming. For every one we defeated, two more took its place

This isn’t working!Alex shouted, his flames flickering as he struggled to keep up

Before anyone could respond, a cold, cruel laugh echoed through the forest

I froze, my wolf growling low in warning. Women began to emerge from the shadows, their golden eyes glowing ominously. They wore black robes adorned with scales and animal skulls, their presence radiating malice. Each one carried an aura of ancient power

their black robes swaying as if moved by an unseen force

I have never seen them before but I knew it was them because I could sense the shadow weaver’s darkness The Children of the

Eclipse,I whispered, dread pooling in my stomach

One of them, clearly their leader, stepped forward. Her robe was more elaborate, and the skull she wore as a mask was that of a massive wolf, its teeth bared in eternal defiance. In her hand, she gripped a staff made of black wood that pulsed with dark energy

You dared to invoke the moon’s power in our domain, she sneered, her voice a low, venomous drawl. How foolish.”

Foolish?Alex snapped, flames igniting at his fingertips. You’re the ones who picked the wrong fight.”

The leader laughed, the sound acting unnaturally through the found true darkness

#ttle fuzemerter. Let’s see if your flances

Before anyone could react, the slammed her staff into the ground. A eve of quadow surged on and, ertingashing Aler’s flames and plunging the forest into near total darkness. Only the faint silver glow from my wolt form illuminated the immediate ares

Elijah!I growled in their minds. We need a plan!

Elijah’s eyes glowed fiercely, and he raised his voice over the rising hans. Stay together! Don’t let them split as age

But the Children of the Eclipse weren’t about to make it easy. As if responding to their leader’s will, the shadows themselves came alive, twisting and writhing like serpents. They lunged at us, forcing us to scatter

I charged at one of the witches, my massive wolf form glowing brighter as I lunged. She raised her hand, summoning a wall of shadows to block my attack, but I tore through it with sheer force. My claws swiped at her, but she dodged with supernatural speed, her golden eyes mocking me

Not so fast, silverwoof, she taunted, sustain dripping from her voice she then launched a bolt of dark energy at me

I barely had time to leap out of the way before it exploded against a tree, shattering it into splinters

Nearby, Elijah was locked in a brutal fight with two witches. One of them conjured shadowy chains to bind his limbs, but he roared and brøke free with a surge of raw strength. Grabbing one of the witches by the arm, he flung her into the other with bonecrushing

force

But before I could reach him, two witches intercepted me. One of them raised her hands, summoning dark tendrils that wrapped around my legs, holding me in place. The other conjured a shadowy spear and hurled it at me

I twisted just in time, the spear grazing my side instead of impaling me. Pain flared, but I gritted my teeth and focused on breaking free. Didn’t she say it was an illusion why was it painful.Drawing on the moon’s essence, I channeled its power into my legs. The tendrils hissed and dissolved under the silver glow, and I leaped forward, slamming into one of the witches

She screamed as my claws tore through her robe, but the other witch was already preparing another attack. I turned to face her, only to see Isaiah appear behind her, his shadow blade slicing through her

Thanks,I panted

He gave me a curt nod before disappearing into the shadows once more

Elijah roared, throwing the shadow beast to the ground and tearing into it with renewed strength. Alex’s flames burned brighter than ever, engulfing entire groups of witches in waves of fire. Isaiah’s shadows moved with lethal precision, cutting down enemies with ease. And Austin’s ice became a storm, freezing everything in its path

As the last of the shadows faded, the forest began to dissolve, and we found ourselves back with exhaustion, but also triumph

in the stone chamber. The air was heavy

Eira stood before us, her expression unreadable. Impressive, she said finally. You survived. Barely.”

I glared at her, still catching my breath. That was insane! You could we warned us.‘

She smirked. Where’s the fun in that? You’re alive ain’t you?”

Lady your out of your mind,Austin said

Eira raised an eyebrow. You’ve grown stronger, I’m impressed CommanderLynne really did a good job.”

I looked at my mates. Together, we had faced the darkness and survived. Whatever lay ahead, we would face it as well. Since this whole thing of me being the last silver wolf and my speciessavior, finally felt like we had a shot at winning
