Isabelle’s face, however, turned dark as she absorbed this information.
Without hesitation, after hearing Fletcher’s last remark, Isabelle spoke up coldly, “Father, I’ll do it”
Fletcher spun around, looking at her sharply. “Do what?”
Isabelle gritted her teeth, saying each word slowly and deliberately, “I will enter the palace. I’m willing to fight for the title of Queen.”

“But you must remember, becoming the Queen is not your true goal. Our great ambitions cannot be compared to the small title of Queen. Don’t forget, don’t lose sight of the bigger picture.”
As Fletcher spoke the last part, his tone became subtly cautionary.
However, he didn’t know that Isabelle had no respect for either of those goals.
What was the Queen’s title, and what was this so–called rebellion? Nothing but child’s play,
Isabelle sneered internally, her voice cold. “Don’t worry, Father. I don’t care for it.”
Fletcher didn’t catch the true meaning behind her words, but seeing her obedient expression, he reluctantly nodded in approval.
“By the way, from today on, stay in the manor and prepare yourself. There’s no need for you to go out during this time. I’ll have the best tutors come to teach you the proper manners.”
Isabelle said, “From today on? But I wanted to go out of the city. Father, why not let me go after I return?”
Isabelle wanted to visit Saint Grace Nunnery. Even if she couldn’t meet anyone, she still wanted to go.

The man kneeled and replied respectfully, “Sir, those people have entered Hasen City. They’re staying at Peace Inn and have paid for a month’s rent.”
“A month…” Fletcher’s right hand twirled an emerald ring on his thumb nervously, his body tense with impatience.
He narrowed his eyes and said, “Keep a close watch on them. Report everything–where they go, who they meet, what they do. If they get near the Henderson family, let me know immediately.”
“Yes, sir.”
“And send someone to keep an eye on Raisa. She cannot leave, and she must not come into contact with them.”
“Yes, sir.”
After the man left, Fletcher’s study quickly fell silent.
But after a brief moment, Fletcher suddenly exploded, slamming his hands onto the desk, knocking everything to the floor in a loud crash.
Fletcher slammed his hands on the table, his voice uncontrolled as he snarled, “A bunch of damn hyenas. I won’t let you take everything I’ve worked for.”
His expression was terrifying, his eyes bloodshot with rage.
