However, Nolan hadn’t encountered anyone resembling Emmitt on his way.
Seeing a slight change in Eliza’s expression, Nolan glanced at the carriage where Hubert was resting and decided not to press further.
As they rested near the canyon’s edge, Nolan took Eliza aside, reaching into his coat to retrieve the royal decree from Diana Just then, Eliza asked, “What’s going on in Hasen City? Why did you bring so many people to find me? Has something happened?”
