Louisa sat in the carriage, gently holding a handkerchief to her face, her soft voice drifting to those around her.

“Attention!” they commanded in unison.

Every Black Flag soldier around the county office drew their swords in unison, their actions echoing through the streets.
The tension in the air doubled as the oppressive aura of the soldiers filled the space.
The bodyguards outside the carriage immediately said, “Miss, you must leave. They really will take action.”
Louisa, who had never experienced such a scene or been treated this way, bit her lip in anger, her eyes flashing with fury. She immediately ordered the driver, “Go, back to the mansion.”
She had gone through great effort to prepare herself and arrive as soon as she received the news.
Yet, she had not even seen Prince Regent, and was already being turned away by these unruly soldiers.
It was utterly disrespectful.
Louisa’s frustration grew as she journeyed back, her face an open display of irritation. The maid beside her, sensing her displeasure, knelt obediently, too afraid to speak.
Louisa said, “Not at the county office, not in Saint Snow City… where could Prince Regent have gone? Could he have already gone to Centrina City? If so, then there’s no need to rush.”
After all, the governor of Woteria was in Centrina City, but Louisa had been away at her grandmother’s house.

Not just because of her father’s name, but because she believed that if Prince Regent knew of her “reputation,” he wouldn’t dare turn her away.
But what Louisa didn’t know was that her “reputation” only extended to Woteria.
Louisa said, “You may be right, but isn’t it a bit exaggerated? I’ve heard Prince Regent is a man of great integrity, not easily swayed by beauty. Could he really be so taken by my face?”
Louisa wore a worried expression.
But Aria, knowing Louisa’s self–confidence, recognized that this concern was nothing more than a test.
Louisa loved to test her servants, especially when she pretended to worry about her beauty.
Every time she did so, they had no choice but to flatter her to avoid the consequences.
Aria, who had been serving Louisa for many years, immediately jumped in, “It’s not an exaggeration! You’re a celestial
beauty! Even if Prince Regent is a man of honor, he’s still a man, and no man can resist your charm.”
Louisa raised an eyebrow, “Really? You’re not just saying that to flatter me, are you?”

Aria was a pro at this.
That one line struck Louisa straight to the heart.
