As soon as she reappeared inside the tent, she flung open the curtain, only to see Nolan and Tina already fighting outside.
Seeing the two about to draw their weapons, Eliza was startled and quickly shouted, “Stop right there! What are you two doing?”
Hearing Eliza’s voice, Nolan immediately froze and hurried over to her.“Serenity, are you alright?”
Eliza shook her head at his concerned expression and said, “I’m fine. But what’s wrong with you two? Why did you suddenly start fighting?”
Tina also returned to Eliza’s side, standing behind her and glaring at Nolan with a hostile look.
Nolan hesitated for a moment before saying, “It’s nothing. As long as you’re okay, that’s all that matters.”
The truth was, he had been worried Eliza might be too emotionally overwhelmed. So when he chased her to the camp, he had planned to go in and keep her company.
But Tina had suddenly appeared and blocked his way with a tough stance, refusing to let him enter.
Not sensing Eliza’s presence inside, Nolan feared the worst, which led to his clash with Tina.
However, upon seeing Eliza appear, Nolan suddenly calmed down.
He remembered noticing a few strange things about Eliza before and figured Tina had insisted on keeping him out because she knew about it.
It was understandable, but he still felt very frustrated.

Eliza asked, “If that was eight years ago, he should still have been quite young then, right?”
“He’s turning sixteen soon,” Nolan replied.
