Forever His: The Alpha’s Possession
The Alpha’s Possession 20
The hotel staff, not daring to offend the Silverfang pack, quickly grabbed their radios and said, “Inform security to seal all hotel exits. Make sure Ms. Watson doesn’t leave. She must be stopped…”
“Let her go!” Zvonimir abruptly snatched the radio. His deep, cold voice commanded instant obedience from the wolf on the other end.
Everyone stared at him with a mix of astonishment and confusion. Even Farah was briefly stunned but wisely held her tongue. Only Mrs. Ashcroft, outraged, questioned him, “Why didn’t you stop her? Have you fallen under her spell?! She’s a shameless female, unworthy even to serve the Silverfang pack! She came here uninvited to ruin your mate–bonding party with Farah. She’s clearly up to no good, trying to tarnish our pack’s honor!”
Zvonimir frowned, his irritation evident. “I’m the one who gave her the invitation,” he said flatly.
This statement confirmed that Rishima hadn’t lied earlier. Knowing Zvonimir’s domineering nature, it was likely he had forced Rishima to attend the mate–bonding party.
Mrs. Ashcroft immediately glared at her son, visibly deflated.
Zvonimir paid no mind to Mrs. Ashcroft. With a cold expression, he led Farah out of the room. His demeanor was devoid of any joy.
The wolves quickly stepped aside, not wanting to provoke an angry Alpha male.
Soon, the soft melody of music once again filled the hall, restoring the lively atmosphere as though nothing had happened. No one dared to discuss the incident openly in front of the Silverfang pack members.
However, even if no one said it aloud, they inwardly mocked the Silverfang pack’s handling of the situation.
In the end, the mate–bonding party proceeded without further disruptions. Still, it was undeniable that Master Zvonimir and Miss Farah Thorne had been thoroughly humiliated by Rishima. If word of this spread, the Silverfang pack’s reputation would undoubtedly suffer.
Outside the hotel, Rishima stepped out to find it pouring rain. She frowned slightly and pulled out her phone to open a ride–hailing app.
She was used to the empire’s unpredictable weather–one moment the drizzle of late winter, the next heavy downpours of early spring.
Rishima stood alone at the hotel entrance, watching the rain. For some reason, memories of Zvonimir braving a downpour to visit her on her birthday four years ago surfaced.
At that time, she lived in an old apartment building. Zvonimir’s car couldn’t enter, so every time he visited, he had to walk over ten minutes.
She vividly recalled that night–Zvonimir holding a cake, drenched from head to toe, standing at her door with a joyful smile. “Happy birthday, my sweetie,” he had said.
Her heart had been melted by Zvonimir’s gentleness and sweetness.
It was the first time since her parents passed away that a wolf had brought her a birthday cake. That night, she and Zvonimir had officially bonded.

“Miss, it’s raining heavily. Please come inside and wait in the lobby, a hotel staff member kindly reminded her, breaking her reverie.
Rishima smiled and replied, “It’s fine.“,
She glanced at her phone to check her ride request, only to find it had been canceled. The driver called to inform her that the rain was too heavy for him to pick her up and suggested she try another ride.
However, after two more attempts, no taxi accepted her request.
The rain poured down harder and faster. Zelda messaged her on WhatsApp, worriedly asking, “Rishima, why aren’t you back yet? Did Zvonimir give you trouble?”
Two days ago, Zelda’s rental contract had expired, and she hadn’t found a new place yet. She was temporarily staying with Rishima.
Seeing it was already 11 PM and Rishima hadn’t returned, Zelda immediately assumed Zvonimir had caused problems for her.
Rishima replied, “I’m outside the hotel. It’s raining too hard, and I can’t get a ride.”
The nearest subway station was a 20–minute walk away. Without an umbrella, she would be soaked if she walked there. But if no taxi showed up, she might have to spend the night at the hotel.
As she contemplated booking a room, Zelda’s cheerful voice came through the phone. “Wait for me; I’ll drive over to pick you up.”
Before Rishima could respond, Zelda hung up.
Left with no choice, Rishima decided to wait. After ending the call, she noticed a new friend request in her contacts–a phone number belonging to a male wolf, Zelda’s senior from school.
Though not interested in romance, Rishima politely accepted the request before setting her phone aside.
Half an hour later, a white car pulled up outside the hotel. A tall male wolf, comparable in height to Zvonimir, stepped out holding an umbrella and approached her.
‘Hello, I’m Zelda’s senior, Matthew Jones. You must be Rishima?” The male wolf introduced himself, opening the umbrella over Rishima with a gentle smile.
Although both Matthew and Zvonimir were Alpha males, Matthew lacked Zvonimir’s domineering aura. He exuded a polite, composed demeanor that didn’t make him seem weak or submissive.
To Rishima, Matthew was like a calm lake, radiating a warmth that made others feel at ease and want to be near him.
Remembering how Zelda had insisted on introducing her to a good male wolf, Rishima assessed Matthew and silently agreed with Zelda’s evaluation. This wolf seemed like a genuinely honorable soul in both his nature and his actions. Even more importantly, he lacked the arrogance often associated with Alpha males, which made Rishima immediately feel at ease.
She nodded at Matthew.
Matthew smiled and said, “Zelda called me earlier, saying a friend of hers was stranded here due to the rain and needed a ride home. Coincidentally, I was passing by, so I agreed to help.”
Hearing this, Rishima realized Zelda had orchestrated this encounter Internally, she was speechless at Zelda’s matchmaking efforts. Nevertheless, she didn’t want to refuse Zelda’s kindness and agreed to let Matthew drive her home.
“Let’s go, Matthew said, gesturing for her to get in the car.
Once inside, Rishima noticed Matthew’s right side was soaked from the rain. Embarrassed, she pointed it o
