Chapter 2
Felicity’s POV
I parted my lips to speak, but before I could utter a word, the door swung open. Rosalie stepped in, carrying a basket of fruit and flowers.
“Sorry to interrupt,” she said with a polite smile. “I’m here on behalf of the pack to visit Luna Felicity.”
Rosalie was an omega in our pack–beautiful, curvy, and effortlessly charming. She had a way of making people adore her.
Most importantly, she could bear children.
No wonder Dorian liked her.
Dorian’s expression remained indifferent. He merely gave Rosalie a brief nod before shifting his attention back to me.
But I knew better. Beneath his composed exterior, a storm was brewing.
I turned my back to them and lay down, suppressing the turmoil in my heart.
“I’m tired. I want to rest.”
I expected Rosalie to leave, but she didn’t. Instead, she took a seat, staying by Dorian’s side as he kept watch over me.
Dorian sat at the edge of the bed, gently massaging my hand, a gesture that once would have reassured me.
Rosalie, on the other hand, sat quietly nearby, an image of innocence. But beneath the surface, something far more sinister was unfolding.
Out of sight, beneath the edge of the bed, her leg brushed against Dorian’s–an act that was anything but accidental.
Dorian didn’t stop her. He let her touch linger, only catching her leg when she grew bolder. He gripped her thigh, halting her movements, his expression unreadable.
But Rosalie wasn’t deterred. Instead, she leaned in, wrapping her arms around him like a cat marking its territory, nuzzling against him.
Dorian hesitated, glancing at me to ensure my eyes were still closed and my breathing steady. Once convinced I was asleep, he finally gave in, pushing Rosalie onto the table beside them, his fingers

tightening around her throat as he kissed her.
It was brief, but the silent warning in his eyes was clear.
Stay in line.
Rosalie, however, was fearless. She clung to him once more, whispering something in his ear that
made his resolve crumble.
Dorian stole one last glance at me before grabbing Rosalie’s hand and leading her out of the room.
The moment the door clicked shut, I opened my eyes.
“Our mate has betrayed us.‘
My wolf, Mia, growled in frustration.
Dorian would never know that every moment he had just shared with Rosalie was reflected perfectly in the glass window across from me.
I had seen it all.
I pushed back the blankets and climbed out of bed, my legs trembling as I followed them down the
hallway.
They turned a corner, and I ducked behind a pillar, peeking out just enough to witness their
interaction.
Dorian had Rosalie pinned against the wall, his fingers gripping her throat, his voice low and dangerous.
“I warned you to behave in front of Felicity.”
But Rosalie wasn’t fazed. She merely pouted, rubbing against him like a spoiled kitten.
“You’ve been too busy doting on her these past few days. Even our baby misses you.”
She batted her lashes and wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing herself against him.
“Alpha Dorian,” she purred, her voice dripping with seduction, “haven’t you always wanted to try it somewhere more… thrilling? There are no cameras on this floor, and your wife is fast asleep. No one will ever know.”
Without waiting for his response, she stood on tiptoe and pressed her lips to his.
Dorian hesitated for a fraction of a second before cradling the back of her head and deepening the

kiss.
“Dorian,” Rosalie gasped between kisses, “be gentle… I’m carrying your child, after all.”
“Shut up,” he growled. “I know what I’m doing.”
I couldn’t bear to watch any longer.
I turned and ran, their heated whispers echoing behind me. Each word, each stolen touch, felt like a blade slicing through my heart.
The man who once swore to love only me, the man who promised I was his one and only-
in the arms of another.
And she was carrying his child.
