The next few weeks passed by in a blur as I settled into my new routine.
I worked my shifts at the bar, getting to know the Warriors and their old ladies. Sometimes I helped Ledger tackle the club’s never–ending business paperwork.
On my nights off, I’d curl up on the couch with Talon, binge–watching shows or reading while he cleaned his guns.
