She has betrayed me, and she will know the consequences of it.
Her presence is not unknown to me. It has not been for a very long time.
The second my eyes land on her, a rage like no other erupts in me, and all I want is to tear her apart.

Her brown hair is falling over her shoulders as she steps out. Her skin is pale. The moment her eyes fall on me, I can sense her wolf panicking. And it should: I’m furious, and it’s going to take me everything to control my rage, to control myself.
She swallows hard as she stands on the porch, and I take in her face, the way she has tensed and stiffened under my stare. how she can barely meet my gaze, and her hands are trembling.

“Do you want your brother and parents to pay for what you have done? I will not hesitate to kill them,” I snap at her, making her tense. She’s aware I won’t hold myself back.
“No, no, Aron. Just let me talk. Please. You have to listen to me.”
“Come on. It’s a long way, and you’ll have plenty of time to speak then
She doesn’t move from where she is. Instead, she remains standing on the porch, looking at me with uncertainty and worry
I can sense her wolf, how it feels. She knows that I have no mercy in me, and that she has done wrong, and she will be paying for her betrayal, for her lies, and for leaving.
“You’re angry,” she says. “Are you going to hurt me?”
My gaze narrows on her. “What if I am? Some lessons need to be taught. Somehow my mate needs to know what is expected of her, what she should do and what not to do. I thought that it was understood between us. I step towards her and watch as she takes one step back. She doesn’t dare to come down from the porch. She doesn’t dare to come close to me.

She nods and swallows before taking the few steps that are required to come down the steps of her house and then with de I hold onto her wrist and lead her to the cat..
It didn’t take me long to find her, especially since her own brother gave her exact location to me.
“Get in. Rhea,” I open the door for her, and she slides in before I slam the door shut.
I get in on the other side and start driving. I don’t need to have guards or anyone with me here, considering this is my pack and I’m the alpha here.
It takes me a moment to leave the street where her house is. I drive in the direction where I need to go, towards the edge of the town and out of here, on the route heading north,
Her silence makes me frustrated as I glance at her, and I notice her staring ahead, at the road and then her own hands, and I don’t miss the trembling of them,

She looks at me, a bit of confusion and fear filling her eyes. “You’re different.”

Her breathing races a little. She gives her head a shake. “Kovas told me differently. You control him. You are dangerous.”
“When he fails. I take control and do what’s necessary. Im his wolf, part of him. There’s no difference between us.”

I cut her off before she could go any further. I don’t need her telling me who I am. “You wouldn’t know how that feels, Rhea. You were a runt for most of your life. Your wolf doesn’t understand the true nature of being a wolf, and it never will.” My gaze narrows on her as I speak, and I watch as her face grows more and more grim.
She doesn’t say anything after that. Just quiet.
“Kovas should have never told you about me, and even if he did, you shouldn’t have led all these weeks and tried to keep me away. It wasn’t right. But now you will know how it is to have someone trap you and make you vulnerable and try to change you.”
