Once he left the underground Hall of Eternity and returned to the study in the Henderson family, Fletcher sank heavily into the chair behind his desk.
He grabbed a piece of paper from the desk, one that listed several names.
His gaze swept over the names with cold intensity finally locking onto the one at the very bottom

In Benedict’s courtyard.
After taking the medicine brewed with Snow Lotus that Eliza had prepared, Benedict woke up a few days later, just as expected.
However, his body was still incredibly weak. Other than opening his eyes to glance around, he couldn’t do much else.
He couldn’t even speak.
All he could do was lie there, motionless on the bed.
Even basic tasks like eating and drinking medicine required someone to assist him.
Over the past few days, Sophie had been staying by Benedict’s side almost constantly, trying to win back their father’s favor
She even took over the servants‘ duties, personally feeding him and administering his medicine.
But no matter how hard she tried, every time Benedict saw her approach, he would simply close his eyes, refusing to acknowledge her presence.

Matthew had just arrived when Sophie’s desperate plea rang out from inside.
Frowning slightly, he quickly stepped into the room. As expected, he saw Sophie kneeling by Benedict’s bedside, her face full of pitiful sorrow as she begged him.
Seeing this, Matthew rushed forward and pulled Sophie to her feet. “Sophie! What are you doing?”
Sophie’s eyes brimmed with tears, a few slipping down her cheeks as she turned to Matthew, her voice trembling with heartbreak. “Matthew, Benedict won’t forgive me. What can I do? It’s all my fault! If I hadn’t been so foolish and made all those mistakes, Benedict wouldn’t be like this now. He wouldn’t be so distant from me.”
Matthew sighed deeply at her words.

Matthew frowned, and Sophie’s face turned pale with panic.
She muttered miserably, “I don’t have the antidote! And those ingredients are impossible to find! What am I supposed to do?” “What about the poison flower?” Matthew pressed, “Are you sure you don’t have even one left?”
Sophie, seeing his disbelief, immediately replied. “If you don’t believe me, you can search my courtyard yourself.”
She only had a few seeds left.
Sophie wasn’t worried about anyone discovering those seeds.
But not being able to find the antidote or the poison flower wasn’t a solution either.
To make matters worse, she couldn’t get in touch with Lucas Carter’s people at such a critical moment. It was as if they’d vanished when she needed them most.
“Oh, right!” Matthew suddenly said, “I heard recently that there’s a place in Hasen City called Hall of Eternity. They sell medicine that’s supposed to be incredibly effective. Why don’t you come with me to check it out later? Maybe we’ll find something useful there.”
